Sir, – The wonderful tributes paid to Irish Timesliterary editor Caroline Walsh (Weekend Review, December 24th) emphasised her warm personality, energy, inventiveness, generous encouragement to writers, sense of fun, and love of story-telling and good writing. These are the key characteristics of a great editor. She will be sorely missed. – Yours, etc,
