Sir, -In banning a select number of media outlets from attending White House briefings, US president Donald Trump has taken yet another step in abandoning democracy for fascism in the United States.

While the midterm elections can’t come soon enough, the worry is what other actions Trump might take to undermine and disrupt the democratic process. – Yours, etc,
