Three men suffered gunshot wounds in two separate paramilitary-style punishment attacks in Northern Ireland last night.

A 20-year-old man was shot in the hands, elbows and ankles at Brittins Parade in West Belfast at 10.30 p.m.

In Newtownards, Co Down two men received gunshot wounds to the leg after armed and masked men burst into a house in Lysander Park at 8.30 p.m.
