Skeletal remains have been found by hill walkers in the Dublin Mountains.
The grim discovery was made at around midday today by a group in the Slieve na
mBan Og area.
Gardai in Tallaght are investigating the circumstances and the scene has been preserved for a technical examination by forensic officers.
The Office of the State Pathologist has also been informed.
Gardai said it is too early to link the remains with any missing person.
