A 55-year-old Offaly man was charged with murder at Kilcormac District Court yesterday.
Mr Cormac Guinan, Ard Aoibhinn, Mountbolus, Co Offaly, is accused of murdering Mr Patrick Lee at Mullacrohy, Mountbolus, Tullamore, Co Offaly, on March 29th, 1997.
Judge Mary Devins remanded the defendant in custody to Ballinasloe District Court on March 30th for service of a book of evidence.
