A landowner and businessman has been found not guilty by a jury at the Central Criminal Court of intimidating a Chief State Solicitor's official in 1996.

Mr Michael Deighandes (74), of St Margaret's, Dublin, was also acquitted of contempt of court arising out of the same alleged incident.
