The deputy mayor of Wurzburg, Germany, accompanied by city councillors and officials, is visiting Co Wicklow as part of a twinning agreement. While in Wicklow, the deputy mayor and his party will attend Mass at St Killian's church, Greystones. St Killian was martyred in Wurzburg in 689.

A local councillor, Mr George Jones, who last year led a delegation from Wicklow to Wurzburg to ratify the twinning agreement, said they would be visiting the Wicklow Film Trail and other tourist sites. The arrangement would benefit both cities and "remove the narrow focus we sometimes adopt in this country", he said.
