The Irish Haemophilia Society will apply to the High Court on Monday to challenge the Lindsay Tribunal's refusal to direct the Blood Transfusion Service Board to give a better description of information contained in 611 documents over which the BTSB claims privilege.

Mr Justice Kelly yesterday gave the society permission to notify the BTSB and the tribunal of its application. .
