The editor of one of Pakistan’s largest newspapers said a letter posted to his office has reported positive for anthrax.
Mr Mehmood Sham of the Urdu-language Daily Jang, says no staff have been reported ill.
It is the first case of anthrax in Pakistan since the war on terrorism began.
The entire editorial staff of 60 has now been put on antibiotics.
