America's third largest fast food chain, Wendy's, is to open a restaurant in Northern Ireland. Burger giant Wendy's has applied for planning permission to build a drive through premises on the Saintfield Road in south east Belfast. Wendy's move into the North is part of a $100 million (£64 million) investment in the UK where it plans to open a total of 70 outlets.
