The Finnish national airline Finnair will begin flying a Helsinki Dublin route via Stockholm three times a week from May 1st next year in co operation with Aer Lingus, Finnair has announced.

Under the terms of the code sharing arrangement, Aer Lingus will be entitled to a quota of seats aboard the 120-seat DC9-50s that will service the route. The flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays and will be the only direct connection between Dublin and the two Scandinavian capitals.
